What Causes Heartburn And Swallowing Difficulty?

For the past couple days I have been having pain in my esophagus. It almost feels like the sensation you get after swallowing something that is too big or has a sharp edge (I haven’t) I am having a difficult/painful time swallowing food and liquids. I have had a little heartburn, but not really more than usual. I have a constant feeling that something is stuck in my throat and some pain in my back, between my shoulder blades. What could it be?
I’m female, 27, 5’7” 185lbs
Nothing too notable in my medical history, I did have my appendix out and have abdominal adhesions

Welcome to HCM

Could be an erosion / ulcer
Need an endoscopy for definite diagnosis
See an Internist / get examined ...
Over The Counter Proton pump inhibitor like Omeprazole, pro-kinetic agent like Domperidone and antacid like magaldrate will be useful in the meanwhile...
Prognosis is generally excellent in such situations…
