What Causes Heart Palpitations?

Hi, I have been having heart palpitations for 1 week with sensations I can only describe as swishing, aching and anxiety because of the heart palpitations. I am now wearing a heart monitor. However, my normal heart rate is 68 to 72 I am now 94 with a tightness in the back of my neck.

Welcome to HCM

Probably Anxiety aggravating the problem
One has to wait for the results of monitor

Many cases of palpitation are benign, especially when associated with normal ECHO and may not require treatment, If you also have symptoms like blurred vision, dizziness, loss of consciousness, shortness of breath, chest pain along with this, you need urgent work up
ECHOcardiogram / TMT (Treadmill exercise ECG) / LABORATORY work-up – may all be necessary for further assessment and assistance.
You may even need Electro Physiological Studies (EPS)
The treating doctor may suggest them depending on need, based on his assessment of the situation.

Regards
