What Causes Heart Palpitations While Heart Rhythm And BP Is Normal?
hi, i am 26 and been having these sinking feeling in my heart. It seems to happen randomly about once a week. I have been to a doctor and to hospital about it and they said my heart rhythm and blood pressure was fine but i keep getting them. When it happens it feels like my heart is going to suddenly stop but thankfully it doesn t. They seem to be getting more frequent though. What could it be?

It's due to a condition called Arrhythmias. Arrhythmias are of many types , some are harmless while some are fatal.
Most of the times these arrhythmias are intermittent in nature and hence by the time you consult doctor or by the time they check your rhythm it would have gone.
Hence my advise to you is to get a Treadmill test done which induces a mild arrhythmias and detects which kind you are having.
Kindly revert back with report for further discussion.

Depression may be the reason for your symptoms, if you have not done the EKG then get it done just for safe side, else this is just nothing to worry, try to keep the stress level very low, everything would be fine soon, hope this information helps, have a nice day.
