What Causes Heart Fluttering?
My daughter 5, had her PDA closed at 12 months. She never laid still enough for them to check it was ok after on a scan. She s now complaining of her heart fluttering and I can feel her heart pounding out of her chest, this is when she is sedentary? This has happened on a few occasions ? YYYY@YYYY

It would be best to have a detailed ECHO scan after sedating the child. it would be critical to know this as a chld should not feel palpitations nd you should not be feeling the heart pounding
There are simple oral solutions that will help her to sleep through the echo study. Please ask for sedation as it is important as the changes in the heart can be devastating if now picked early.
