I m a female aged 55 and have recently been experiencing daily heartburn, gas, bloating and abdominal distention. I am about 20 lbs. overweight and due to pain I m not getting exercise like I used to. I get full quickly and feel discomfort for about an hour after eating. About a month ago I took a laxative for constipation and instead of moving my bowels, I suffered for about 6-8 hours with pain and cramping in the upper right quadrant of my abdomen. Can you please tell me what you think is happening? Thank you.
