Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have a neck injury as well as a lower back injury. I keep hearing my heart beat in both of my ears. could it be caused from the neck injury? My pain level is high, even with pain med s it never stops hurting. I have noticed that I am actually grinding me teeth all day when my pain level is up. My ears feel clogged almost but I know that s not the case. The noise in my ears seems to be getting worse and last longer. Any clue if it is from my neck? Know without a full history you can t say much. but I also feel as though my ribs are being crushed and I can t sit, stand or walk for long periods. Can t use my arms for much without my pain increasing and staying that way for days. Also can not stand on my heals without falling over. Any idea?
neck injury can cause cevical disc injury and cervical spondilytis, like wise lower back injury can effect lumbosacral spine. both can cause pain due to compresion on nerves. noise in ear can not be linked to either of injury. it is tenitus. and hearing heart sound may be pulsatile tenitus. may be a blood vessel near ear drum comunicate the pulsatile sound. actualy there is nosound generaly there is loss of hearing in such cases. it can be managed by drugs like lorazepalm aspirin quinoline related drug, nasids and chemotherapy. response is limited.
