Hi.
The causes of hearing loss in the ear infestated with fungus is obviously a fungal ball.
The cause in the other ear can be a fungus again or otitis media or neurological problem.
I would advise in such a patient about the course of an antibiotic, anti-inflammatory medicines and anti-fungal - topical n the ear and the oral if required.
You should get your Audiometry done to know the cause of hearing poss- whether conductive due to something like a pus or impacted wax in the ear or Sensori-neural due to a problem with the nerve.
The treatment will depend upon the findings .
