What Causes Headaches, Wheezing Cough And Painful Sinuses?

Since beginning to run a/c in bedroom at night my sinuses are painful around my eyes and under my eyes and have post nasal drip during the night that I am constantly clearing my throat. During the day having painful headaches and a slight wheezing cough towards evening. Have tried nasal wash, not working to well and running vicks steam at night. Any suggestions. Had this same trouble last summer when we started running the a/c! I clean the filter weekly but it is an old window a/c. Thank you.

Hello!
I read your question and understood your concern.
I think that the problems you have may be related to a sinus problem. It may be allergic reaction , fungal or bacterial infection. Allergy and fungal infection are more probable in your case.
I would recommend to consult with your GP, have a blood analysis, a sinus xray or CT scan. Allergy tests and a sinus discharge culture would be necessary to establish the cause and then the right treatment.
Hope to have been of help!
Thank you for using HCM!
