What Causes Headaches During Nights Having Diagnosed With Cluster Headaches?

Hello, I am a 27 year old male that was diagnosed with "Cluster Headaches" when I was 13. I suffered most of my adolesent years through these headaches until about 4 years ago when my neurolgist prescribed me Treximet. This pill does wonders for me. When I get a migraine I take one of these and it goes away within 15 minutes. Here the past week, I have been woke up from a very sharp headache on my left temple but my cluster headaches are always on my right side. These headaches that wake me only last about 15 minutes so I dont want to waste one of my pills because they are very expensive. These night headahces that I have been getting every night for the past week are extremly painful and would like to know what may be causing them. Your help would be greatly appreciated

Thanks for your question on Healthcare Magic.
I can understand your concern.
Your current mid night headache is mostly due to worsening of migraine.
Only drugs are not useful for 100 %symptomatic relief in migraine. You need to follow below mentioned lifestyle modifications for better symptomatic relief.
So follow
1. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
2. Avoid excessive sun exposure.
3. Avoid fasting, take your meals timely.
4. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated.
5. Avoid oily and spicy food.
6. Take sound sleep of 6-8 hours.
7. Take combination of propranolol and flunarizine at night time before bed.
Don't worry, you will be alright with all these.
Hope I have solved your query. I will be happy to help you further. Wish you good health. Thanks.
