What Causes Headaches And Migraines?

hey ! ive been having really bad headaches, dizziness and feeling weak ... And i have no clue whats going on .. Im a 17 year old girl and ive been having headaches/ migraines longer then I can count, the thought of food makes be sick and when I do eat I feel sick right after. Dizzy spells are very common and happen randomly. Lately I ve been feeling more tired then ever and very weak as if I cant carry my own weight. I have no clue whats happening hellppp

Thanks for being on healthcaremagic.com. I understand your concerns. A definite diagnosis of migraine,apparently as in your case,needs to be managed on following important grounds:
1)Avoidance of trigger factor-Migraine headache is typically precipitated by a trigger factor.Trigger factor can be different for different individuals like stress,sunlight,smoke,alcohol,some food items like tea,coffee or cheese.Avoiding the trigger is must to prevent migraine episode.
2)Drug therapy:
Different class of anti-migraine drugs are beta blockers,tricyclic antidepressants,anticonvulsants,triptans,calcium channel blockers and non steroidal anti inflammatory drugs.
Please discuss with your physician to start you on medicines which suit you the best.
