In my experience these two symptoms may usually be present when a person has undetected high blood pressure (which may be very very high in view of untreated status of the blood pressure. I would also consider ear problems like BPPV (positional vertigo, if the symptoms occur on bending your head. Alternatively, an impression of atypical migraine need also be considered.
