What Causes Headaches And Dizziness With A Strep Throat?

I was diagnosed with strep throat over 3 weeks ago. I never had a sore throat at all. I finished my antibiotic last week and I am still feeling pretty awful. Headaches and pain at the base of my head, dizzy, tingling between my shoulder blades and fingers when I'm dizzy and kind of full feeling/stiff feeling in my neck where my tonsils/lymph nodes are, nausea. Been back to my general dr, been to an Ear, nose, throat specialist. CT scan of my neck showed no abnormalties. No other diagnosis except strep and I feel no better. Not sure what to pursue at this point, but I need to feel better! I am a 29 yo, 5'9, 170; had a baby in March. Should I see another GP for a second opinion?

ENT Specialist 's  Response
Strep throat infection is characterised by sore throat, fever, lymph node enlargement.Diagnosis confirmed by throat swab.Treatment involves antibiotics(amoxicillin),salt water gargles.Antibiotics can cause gastric upset with esophagitis which can cause pain between shoulder blades.Headache and dizziness could be due to decreased intake during the period of sore throat. My advice is to consult your gp to perform throat examination again and decide on antibiotics if any needed.
