Hi..
Welcome to HEALTHCARE MAGIC..

As per your complain hot and cold flashes can be a side effect of the medication that you are taking to relieve pain or can be any other pathology but it is not due to extraction of teeth...

Hot painful spots in the area of tooth extraction can be due to infection in the area of extraction or if it is just a day or two that you have got extraction done, then it can be due to inflammation of the soft tissues and it is not an abnormal finding..

But in case if it is more than 4 to 5 days then it can be probably due to unhealed socket known as Dry socket that occurs due to dislodgement of the blood clot..

I would therefore suggest you to consult an Oral Physician or an Oral Surgeon and get evaluated and a thorough clinical evaluation has o be done..

In case if hot and cold flashes is due to medicine he can change the painkiller to other drugs..

Also if the pain in extraction areas is due to infection, antibiotics will be advised and if it is due to dry socket then dressings with zinc oxide eugenol to be done every alternate day will help..

Hope this helps..

Regards.
