What Causes Headache With Numbness And Tingling Sensation In Face?

I HAVE HAD A HEADACH FOR A WEEK AND NOW MY FACE IS GOING NUMB, IT STARTED ABOVE MY RIGHT EYE INTO SIDE OF MY NOISE AND NEXT DAY MY EAR HURT, AND THEN TODAY IT WENT FROM MY EAR ALL THE DOWN TO MY LIP FEELING NUMB AND A TWITCH , BUT ONLY THE RIGHT SIDE OF THE FACE/LIP/NOSE IS NUMB, AND BEHIND MY EAR DOWN MY NECK HURT.

Thanks for the query..

I have gone through your query and can understand your concern.

As per your complain and presentation of symptoms it seems that you are suffering from disorder related to Facial Nerve causing BELL'S PALSY and unilateral numbness of face can be due to either Viral Infection or traumatic injury to Facial Nerve..

You should not delay and immediately consult a Neurologist and get evaluated and in case of BELL'S PALSY Steroid may be advised along with Vitamin B complex

If it is Viral Infection antiviral medication can be advised..

Treatment will be planned after diagnosis is confirmed..
