I have had to pick up my 9yr old son from school three times in two days with what he says are headaches and a feeling of ´heavy eyes¨. No fever. we are investigating a problem of constipation but I don´t think it is linked? I´m just not sure what to do - give him another day off school? Could it be stress?
Hello It seems from the history that your son is having headache with heaviness of eyes. The common cause for in this age group is refractive error. This requires evaluation by ophthalmologist by vision and refraction testing. The other causes to be considered are sinusitis and other ENT problems. Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Thank you
