Hello,

I can understand your concern. The complaints you have of tingling and numbness is associated with the migraines you have and it is a common complaint of many migraine sufferers.

Migraine headaches are associated with chemical activity in brain. These chemical changes also cause numbness, tingling and weakness of large or small parts of the body such as lips, tongue, fingers etc. Usually, these feelings are associated with the side of headache patient feels. These feelings can be associated with the sensory aura of the migraine headache and can be felt before, during or after the start of the headache.

As you are having more frequent episodes of migraine, the numbness and tingling feeling is also frequent and longer in duration. In addition, I suspect that your migraine is increasing in severity.

I would advise you to visit your physician or neurologist for consultation regarding the severity of the migraine. If you are taking medicines for that, it might be necessary to increase the dose or change the molecule. If you are not taking any medicines for these headache, you may need to start some to find relief.

I hope this information helps you. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. I wish you feel better soon.

Best,
Dr. Viraj Shah
