What Causes Headache, Cold Shivers And Vomiting?

My head started hurting a few days ago, and it contuined on. I felt cold shivers, almost like a fever , but I ignored it and contuined on the day. And it got worse , so I took a nap, and woke up feeling as if I had to throw up. And on the way to the bathroom I vomited. My diet hasn t been good for the past few days and I haven t been out either due to intense studying and concentration. And I feel like I m about to have diarrhea. Could you pleas help me ?

Hi Dear,

Welcome to HCM.

Understanding your concern. As per your query you have symptoms of diarrhea with fever and vomiting which seems to be due to acute gastroenteritis and electrolyte imbalance in body. It could be due to poor immunity and increased susceptibility of getting infected. Need not to owrry. Drink plenty of fluids to rehydrate body fluids. I would suggest you not to panic at all. You should start treatment with combination of fluoroquinolones and ornidazole. Visit gastroenterologist once and get it examined and start treatment after prescription. You should get intravenous fluid administration as well. Avoid hot, sharp and spicy food. You should take banana on daily basis and light food.
