What Causes Headache And Vomiting?

My son is 2 years old and he has been complaining about his head hurting..has fever and hasa been vomiting. Will not take anymore aspirin. We did take him to the er on Saturday morning...do said he has an ear infection. Put him on amoxicillin...and now, has the same symptoms again. I am worried....not sure if I o the er again or just wait to get an appt with his family doc.

Hi,Thanks for choosing our forum. Your 2 years old child has symptoms of infectious gastritis in the form of fevers and vomiting. Headache can be a common symptom for most of the conditions. Ear infection without ear pains is something i cannot comment on. Better to take the child to his family physician just to make sure that he is being treated right. Continue your medications until you get hold of your doctor. If the child is vigorously vomiting, try domperidone suspension if you get OTC or take him to ER as the child can get dehydrated owing to repeated vomitig. Regards, Dr.Pravin Asir.
