What Causes Headache And Pain In Eye Area?

I have had a stabbing sharp migraine type headache since thursday night, insonmnia, sseing spots all pain is on left side of face centering on eye socket sinus area. This is the 4th day. what may be causing this. No cold symptoms but sweats at night some chills no fever. no vomitiiing or diarrhea.
