What Causes Headache And Nausea?

Hi, for the past 4 hours, I ve had the worst headache and it s making my neck hurt. Also I ve been feeling kinda nauseous but haven t thrown up. It came out of nowhere and I was just sitting at work. I don t think I m pregnant because I just got off my period. It was a kind if strange period though, but all my period are weird due to my birth control. What could be wrong?

Hello
Welcome to Health care magic.

I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you are having headache associated with nausea. My response to your question as below.

This indicates primary headaches like migraine. Migraine can present with these symptoms of severe headache associated with nausea.
This requires symptomatic treatment in the acute episode by the use of analgesic drugs and anti-emetics.
The definitive treatment is by the use of anti-migraine drugs.

Hence I advice you to consult your doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.
Hope this answers your question.
Do write back to me for further questions.
