Hello my name is Kay and all day my daughter has been having blood in her stool the first 3 times she went there was a lot of blood so I thought maybe she had her period but then she went the 4th time it wasn t as bloody but there was still some blood in her stool.now she says that it feels like the inside her but hurts when she poops... Her stool is not whole ,not diareia, but chunky..not really sure how to describe it.. Lol.what does that mean?
Hello, I really appreciate your concern. If your daughter is having chronic constipation and have to exert pressure during defecation, then she is more likely to have hemorrhoids (piles). In this case you should consult a surgeon and have anal and rectal examination done. Blood and mucous in stool may be due to intestinal dysentery. It may be associated with abdominal cramps. In case of your daughter it is unlikely cause. Hope my answer has solved your query. Take Care. Thank you.
