What Causes Hard Lump On The Hip Post Trauma?
My daughter (26 years old) fell on her hip on the sidewalk. Had a very large bruise which is almost gone, but there is still a very hard lump about 3 inches on her hip. This happened about 2 weeks ago She did have an xray at urgent care then. Was advised to go to emergency because the hard lump developed right after the fall. Did not go to ER. Thought it would go away. Should she see a doctor and what kind of doctor should she see?

I really appreciate your concern, two possibilities are there one is soft tissue inflammation and formation of hematoma in either of this it is nothing to worry and it will be fine soon no need to worry about this hope this information helps.
