Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I just discovered a hard mass (bump) about 3/4 long and 1/4 wide about 1 away from entrance to anus (so exterior, not inside anus). Tender to the touch, but otherwise doesn t hurt. Normal skin color or slightly pinkish. First noticed it 3 days ago, no change since then. No puss or anything coming out of it. What could it be? Will it disappear over time? Any salve or medication I could put on it that would help it go away? Any ideas/advice?
Hello dear from my opinion I am suggesting that you may have an condition called anal fissure based on the features you displayed meanwhile it can be treated by scrapping the fissure after which you topically apply podophyllin on the wound to prevent it from growing further
