What Causes Hair Loss With Family History Of Baldness?

Hi! Sir my name is sateesh.I have recently completed b.tech.I am suffering from serious hair loss.I lost lot of my front hair and still loosing it. I dont know the reason.Here i am mentioning the possibilities. Please confirm the actual reason of my hair loss. 1.My father also has bald head. 2.I do head bath thrice a weak. 3.I have tried minoxydil and propecia for 2 months and stopped using it for 2 months but i again started using them for 2 months.Now i am not using. 4.i think my diet is not proper. 5.i have huge amount of dandruff. Please solve my problem.i even undergone lot of depression due to hair loss.i dont want to live.please solve my problem.mail me

Hi there. I can well understand your concerns. But dont worry we can work with it.
Yes it has a strong genetic association. Take a bath daily. No issues. But dont use hot water for it. Normal water helps improve this condition by reducing dryness and dandruff. Keep your hair properly trimmed and short. When young patients like you come to me I usually prescribe them to take Capsule Perfectil 1daily for 1 year. It will catch up the deficiencies and your hair nails and skin will glow. Take plenty of fluids and fruits. Exercises on regular basis will help you a lot. Minoxidil 5% for 1year. But if it causes dandruff or allergy stop using. Take tablet genesis 1mg (finasteride) 1daily for 8months. Its time taking to kick in properly and show results. Male baldness is mostly due to Testosterone levels that destroy specific hair follicles.
