What Causes Hair Fall In A Patient With Typhoid?

I have been using straightner on wet hair for about 3 years... Along with blow drying. I hsve been shampooing everyday as well. As a result I have about half the hair I had 4 years back. I also suffered from typhoid twice when I was young, which had already thinned my hair. I have been taking care of my hair for the past eight months.. And shampooing only twice a week... Using heat only 1-2 times every month. I also use egg masks and regular oiling before shampooing every time. About 10% of my hair has growm back, but now I cannot see that rate of growth. Hair fall problems have started again and bald spots are reappearing. It would be kind if you tell me if my hair can grow back thicker to 400% of what it is now(the amount I had as a child). Thank you .

Hello and welcome to HCM.
Since you have got to the root cause of the hair fall and already are on track with recovering from it, I would advise you to keep the following in mind.
Hairgrowth will not be as quick as in childhood and it grows in phases, more in the summer. Hair fall and growth follows a cycle so it is normal to have periods of hairfall as well as slow growth.
The affected hair follicles may not all recover to give you the same thick hair as in childhood.
Any illness, fever, hormonal problems etc can affect the hair growth.
Eat a nutritious diet with vitamins, minerals and proteins. It is necessary for healthy hair and skin. No crash diets.
Continue with the egg masks, oiling. etc
Use Renocia or Anaphase shampoo . Start a biotin supplement for hair once daily for atleast 2-3 months. At night you can apply keratex or tressgro hair serum to the scalp.
Use heat on your hair as less as possible.
Hope this helps. It will take a while to see good results.
