What Causes Green Mucus Vaginal Discharge During Pregnancy?

Hi - I am 22 weeks pregnant today. I had an ultrasound 2 weeks ago and everything looked perfect (doctor s words). Last evening I was about to lie down for bed and got up suddenly. When I got up it felt like I had wet myself. I went to the bathroom and there was a half dollar size of green mucus (it looked like snot). Is this normal? I have noticed that last few days that I have been blowing my nose much more frequently.

Hello dear,I understand your concern.In my opinion if there is greenish vaginal discharge then the vaginal infection should be ruled our.Because sometimes vaginal infections,urinary infections might lead to preterm pains.So I suggest you to consult doctor and get an examination done to rule out vaginal infection.Drink upto 3 litres of fluids to prevent urinary infections.Take rest.
