What Causes Green Discharge And Itching In The Vagina?

I have leucorrhea . This month my vaginal diacharge frequently changed. Initially it was like egg white then creamy white and little bit thick. At times i hav greenish discharge as well i hav itching in vagina. My periods are six days late . Can u please tell the reason and remedy for it

I have gone through your query.Your change in vaginal discharge thin to thick and whitish is most likely due to hormonal variation.But a greenish discharge and itching is most likely to be due to infection.A pelvic examination should be done by a gynecologist and smears should be taken for laboratory examination and culture.If there is no pelvic inflammatory condition then it is most likely bacterial vaginosis.For such condition in my patients i treat with combination of antibiotics like clindamycin or metronidazole plus clotrimazole as vaginal suppository or oral tab.I also advise my patients to use intimate wash regularly to normalize vaginal bacterial flora and PH and there by prevent getting further infections.Hope this may help you.
