What Causes Grainy Stools?

I have been having variations of bowel movements over the last 2-3 months. Sometimes soft, sometimes grainy and an occasional time where it is almost normal. I have also had some burning sensation after going sometimes. I do not feel bad otherwise, maybe a little more tired.

Hi
Thank you for asking HCM.
I have gone through your query. Your problem is most likely due to malabsorption syndrome. A stool routine examination should be done. Antibiotics will be needed in case of protozoal infections like giardiasis which is a common cause. I usually advise tinidazole as short course and probiotics. Hope this may help you.
Let me know if you have any further queries.
Thanks
