What Causes Gas While Having Human Papillomavirus?

I am 24 years old female, I have HPV and I pass a lot of gas through out the day, and my body is automatically releasing it on its own. I've had HPV for about 2 years now. Its been low rate, so the doctors have reccommended not to do anything about it and wait until it clears up on its own, but I believe its causing other health issues that are making my life uncomfortable.
