What Causes Gas To Smell Like Sulfur Or Rotten Egg?
For about 5 months, I have had increased bad smelling gas: a sulphur or rotten egg smell. No pains. Just embarrassing! I am 51, about a year into menopause and on wellbutrin and lexapro (have been for several years). My diet hasn t changed and I don t notice any link to anything. The gas is daily and pretty random all day.

well,the bad smelling gas with character of sulphur and rotten eggs is due to two things i.e INDIGESTION and A CHANGE IN THE NORMAL BACTERIAL FLORA OF YOUR LARGE INTESTINES....you can get rid of it by taking syrup gastric enzymes ( unizyme ) 2 teaspoons 3 times a day after meals and tablet prebiotic + probiotics 3 times a day for 5 days to restore your normal bacterial flora in the large intestines...along with this take certain changes in your eating habbits like avoid spicy n processed foods,avoid fried stuff,dont take too much of tea and coffee,have frequent small meals rather than having 2-3 large meals in a day,avoid staying empty stomach for too long,drink plenty of water
