What Causes Gas, Bloating And Leakage In Rectum With Small Amounts Of Faeces?

For about 2 years I have been having some issues with gas and bloating with frequent and sudden needs to go to the bathroom small amounts of fecal matter comes out and some mucus This starts with gas gurgling around and can last several hours with very loud gas. This can happen several days in a row and then not again for months. I have normal bowel movements in the morning on these days. In the last month or so this has changed to a water like substance that will leak out my rectum suddenly with small amounts of fecal matter, again this can last several hours very embarrassing. A Dr put me on tetracycline QID for 2 weeks thinking it my of been a leaky gut but no change has occurred. I had a abdominal scan last year with no results.
