What Causes Frequent Urination?

Hi. I've been having a feeling to frequently go to the bathroom (urinate), but little comes out, I feel bloated in my lower abdomen and bladder area (pressure), I leak a tiny bit of urine throughout the day especially when I sit down in a chair, and I feel like I smell urine everywhere--in my car, in my bed, everywhere I go I feel like I keep smelling urine. Any ideas of what's going on with me?

Hi,
Welcome to healthcare magic.

I have read your query and the information you have provided is incomplete as regarding your age, gender, presence of diabetes, amount of fluid intake, pain during micturition, presence of fever, color of urine, etc.

If your age is >50 there is a high chance these symptoms may be of beningn enlargement of the prostate. If symptoms are associated with fever it can be dur to urinary tract infection and so on.

I suggest you mention the entire history for appropriate diagnosis of the condition or consult an urologist with explaining the detailed history to him for his opinion on carrying out investigations like urine culture, ultrasound to diagnose the exact cause.

Hope you find the answer helpful.Feel free to ask any further queries.

Regards,
Dr.Tushar Tamboli
