Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Hi. My name is Mary and I am 34 years old. The past two months I have been experiencing ultra-frequent urination. I have to go to the bathroom every thirty minutes to an hour. Needless to say, it is affecting my sleep a lot. Today I got tested for diabetes incipidus and diabetes mellitus but the tests were negative. I also was tested for a urinary tract infection and that test was negative. I have no idea what is going on with me and wondered if you had any theories. I don t have any pain or thirst or any other symptoms, other than a sore throat. Thank you and hope you are well. Mary
Hi XXXX, As a next conservative step, I would eliminate anything that might irritate the bladder. For example, caffeine, chocolate, alcohol, spicy foods, excessive fluid intake. If this doesn't help, it may be time to seek the advice of a urologist and perhaps have a look inside your bladder(!). Hope this helps and this annoying problem is resolved quickly!
