Hi I am 38yo male. Married. Otherwise fit and healthy. I have new and sudden onset urinary urgency past 6 days. Occurs approx exery 3 hours, day and night. No pain or discharge. Previously never awoke to urinate. Flow is good & complete. No symptoms between each episode. No symptoms of diabetes. Fluid intake normal, recently reduced with no improvement. No increased thirst. No new sexual partners. No recent illness or physical injury. Testes normal, no back/flank pain. No other medical conditions. Thank you.
Hi, Thanks for posting in HCM. I understand your concern. Well, from your description, it appears that you could be having urinary tract infection. May be the might be presence of urinary tract infection or due to enlargement of prostate. Kindly get the following tests done. 1. Urine microscopy examination. 2. Urine culture and sensitivity. 3. Ultrasound abdomen for visualisation of prostate gland and urinary bladder. Kindly consult Urologist with the report for appropriate administration of medications and its management.
