What Causes Frequent Urination?

I seem to be peeing around 12 to 15 times a day. Imy drinking lots more water cause I feel I m not drinking enough. However, as I drink I have to use the bathroom within 15 minutes and no matter how I try to hold it, I cant. This has never happens to me before. Now when I do use the bathroom u would think it s for a minimal amount of pee. Instead it s like I literally just drank my drink to urinate it out directly out. Is there something wrong?

Hello and welcome to HCM,
Increased frequency of urination after drinking large amount of water is physiological.
You need to reduced your daily water intake to 1-2 litres per day because this is the optimal amount of water required daily.
Drinking excess water i.e. more than 2 litres per day can disturb the electrolyte balance in blood and this can have deleterious effect on your homeostasis.
I am of the opinion that you should reduced the quantity of water intake in case it is too high and then observe the frequency of urination.
The frequency of urination should reduced after reducing the amount of water consumed.

Thanks and take care
