What Causes Frequent Urination Post Recovery From Bladder Infection?

I am a teen and I have had a bladder infection and a yeast infection in the past month. And it went away but a week later I have started having to pee a lot and right after I pee i feel as if I have to pee again and there is pressure almost like I can t hold my pee all the time. This has just started. What could be wrong?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi ! I have gone through your question and I understand your concern .

The symptom you prescribe may be cause of a urinary tract infection . Sometimes when patient have urinary infection n it's a high chance that will have it again .It can be from the same bacteria who cause that the first time or another new one .

So I would say to do a urine analyze to see any changes , if they are bacteria do a urine culture to choose the appropriate antibiotic or if it's yeast antimycotic.
Meanwhile drink a lot planty of water, and don't hold the urine , use cranberry juice .

Wish you good health .
