What Causes Frequent Urination And Nausea While On Birth Control Pills?

My name is Rebecca and I am 19 years old and I have a question. I recently had sex March 5th, 2016 and I am on the birth control pill and I haven t started my period yet and I have been nauseated and I have been peeing every 15-20 minutes and I have been eating quite a bit. I am going to still take a pregnancy test in about a week but I was just curious what a doctor thinks about this.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello dear
Understand your concern.
I think You have sign of early pregnancy.
Pregnancy may be possible while on OCP in some case.
Nausea and frequent urination are the symptoms of pregnancy.
You can confirmed by Blood HCg level, which is more sensitive than Urinary HCG kit.

Do not worry.
Go for test.
All the best
Best regards
Dr. Sagar
