Hi, welcome to our site. I am Dr Saumya Mittal, MD.

Read your query. That is a very significant question and i appreciate your problem. I will try my best to answer your query

This could be due to a large number of causes. I am going to list some of the commonest causes, and the investigations associated with them. Let us know the reports so we can help you further

1. Obesity- if you are overweight, there is a high possibility that you snore and have developed what is known as a sleep apnea syndrome. The reult is that you feel sleepy all the time because the sleep is not refreshing. Suggest sleep study and ABG.

2. Anemia- low hemoglobin causes a lot of fatigue and tiredness, This in turn may cause feeling sleepy

3. Checking sugars, thyroid and vitamin D is a good idea too. Abnormalities of these may cause fatigue, and hence feeling of sleep again

I hope this helps you. Inform the reports mentioned above/if any other so I can be of help further. Best of luck.

I have given you the answer to the maximum considering the information provided. The results of the tests could further enhance my answer to you.
