What Causes Frequent Motions In Infants?

My baby is coming to 5 months.. I am trying to wean him off breastmilk. For a week, he was passing motion once or twice a day. Then i switch his formula and he started passing motion on every feed sometimes even twice in a feed. I have since switched him back to previous formula but he is still passing motion in every feed. His stool is light yellow n not too watery. I am nt sure if he is having diahorea. He feed every 4 hrs and twice on breastmilk n rest ob formula. Is it normal? Should i bring him to a doctor?

Respected user , Hi
Thanks for using Healthcaremagic.com
I have evaluated your query thoroughly .

* Intestine of the child is not coping up with the commercial formulas .
* I strongly recommend to continue solely breast feeding for further 1-2
months , so that by that time , intestine of the child will be more able
to digest that part .

Hope this clears your query .
Welcome for any further doubts .

Regards .
