Hi sir...my son name is karthikeya(2 years) he has alternative loose motions from 5 months though we are taken him with doc..if he is given with medicine loose motion will control for that time after medicine has completed again same problem starts.... He is very less in weight (8kg) I am fed up with his motions pls give...me a good solutions for his motions....
Understanding your concern. As per your query your child is suffering from frequent loose motion which seems to be due to acute gastroenteritis which could be due to a virus. Need not to worry. You should take Probiotics such as lactobacillus. I would suggest you to start giving oral rehydration fluids sip by sip to maintain the hydration,, which is very important as this is the worse complication of loose motions. Visit pediatrician once and get it examined. You should go for blood tests as well and start treatment after proper examination. You should give Ibuprofen to child along with proton pump inhibitors as well. I would suggest you to take antiemetic like domperidone and ranitidine for gastritis.
Hope your concern has been resolved.

Best Wishes, Dr. Harry Maheshwari
