What Causes Frequent Bowel Movement In A Baby?

Hi, my baby is passing motion more than 8times a day from past 2days. From 10days back I am onwads I am giveng her formula feed is the reason? My baby is pushing each and every when she passed urine and motion (very little each time) I am worried how to treat this ? Plz help me doctor.

It is understandable to be concerned because of the risk of dehydration.

Dehydration can occur if a baby or child loses more fluid (by diarrhea/excess bowel movement or vomiting) than their body is taking in.

It may be due to an infection of the stomach or intestines or it may be related to the change in milk.
You can discontinue the formula and start an alternative, to see if it is related but it would be best to take her to the doctor for assessment to rule out infection.
