What Causes Frequent And Painful Urination After Taking I-pill?

Hi basically I m a virgin and now going out wih my bf. I decided to take morning after pill on 17th march 2014 as his was my first time and in 17 by the way. Since I have been taking the pill, I have been urinating a lot and when I pee it hurts after a bit. I m just wondering is this bad because for the past 2 nights I woke up at 5:25am roughly to pee and I don t understand? Is his a side effect or.. (Not on my period at the moment)

I pill does not cause this type of side effects. You have frequent and painful urination so you may have some urinary tract infection. You should go for urine examination. It will give idea whether you have urinary tract infection or not. Then you should take treatment accordingly.
