What Causes Frequent UTIs?

hello i am 33 years old women, weight 53kg and height 5 feet. i am married having two kids,one boy 6 years old and one baby girl 18 months.i mostly having my urine infection which i mostly treated by the doctor prescription but unfortunately it reoccur mostly every after two months mostly. but now adays again i have my infection and also difficulty in breathing much , i had started cranmax sachet with levoflaxicin 500mg daily antiboitic. but me much worried about my lungs can you sugests test for it. Also in my second pregnancy i had my breathing problem in severe for which i regularly took the steriods for which i delivered the baby normally but now i m much worried about my baby as well either this treatement effect my baby in any way?

I understand your concern.
Frequent or recurrence of urinary tract infections could be due to following reasons:
1. Resistance of organisms causing infection to the antibiotics used.
2. Persons with diabetes mellitus.
3. Infection spreading from the partner.
Kindly get urine and vaginal secretions culture and sensitivity done. You and your partner can take a course of antibiotics depending on the organism found and antibiotics they are sensitive to. Also, get your fasting and post-prandial blood glucose levels checked along with glycated hemoglobin (HbA1c) levels, to make sure that you are not diabetic.
Kindly maintain good genital hygiene.
