Hi thanks for contacting health care magic... She is having mucus and blood in stool. This should not be neglected.... Get her stool routine microscopic examination.... If pus cells seen then it could be bacterial dysentery like infection and antibiotic like ciprofloxacin given for it..... If stool show egg or trophozoites of ameba or giardia then metronidazole needed.... If still cause not clear then stool culture done... According to sensitivity drug given... If still problem USG done to rule out organic cause... Maintain her hydration.... Fruits more..... It is better if you consult doctor as physical examination for dehydration and general check up needed according to which investigation can be guided. Take care. Dr.Parth
