What Causes Fouls Smell From Healing Stitches On Lips?
Hi, I recieved sutures in my upper lip after an accident. It has been 5 days since and the cut has been healing just fine. I think I can smell this unpleasent odor coming from my cut. Would this odor mean I may have an infection, the cut doesn t look infected, or is it the dissolving stitches in my lip?

In my opinion your stitches are fine, you should not worry,if you feel bad smell you can clean the wound with any antiseptic medicine just like savlon available at counter.if pus comes out you are advised to take antibiotics after consulting local doctor because antibiotics are not available with out prescription
