What Causes Foul Smelling,yellowish Vaginal Discharge?

:I normally last 5 days on my menstrual nd this month I lasted 3 days. After it ended I have been discharging yellowish discharge and more than normal. Also it has a foul odor and I feel some cramps and have a fever. Sounds like an infection but I have no itching like most I've read. What could it be? I can't see my Dr until Thursday. Thanks.

Hi,

Yellowish foul smelling discharge from vagina is mostly a pus discharge. This happens due to bacterial infection of the vagina. You will need suitable antibiotics treatment. Please do consider the possibility of sexually transmitted infection. Please observe complete sexual abstinence till both of you are declared cured of the infection.

Please report to your gynecologist ASAP. Waiting till Thursday is not advisable. I hope you got the warning signal.
