What Causes Forgetful After Having A Stroke?

My father had a stroke 2 months ago and he has been doing great with his recovery. He has been released from his stroke doctor and his rehab doctors. My question is.....he is concerned because he is forgetful and feels like he is in a daze all the time. Will this get better with time? Thanks in advance for your answer!

Welcome to health care magic.

1. Stroke means there is blockage of the vessel in the brain causing that area of the brain with out blood supply.
2.Last time when the doctors has helped him to come out of the stroke with blood thinning medication.
3.The block was revealed - but, at that moment what happened - there might be some cell death in the brain.
4. Brain has receptor every where, due to this area where it happened, these symptoms are seen.
5.In this case it take a gradual improvement by time. A followup MRI scan will be good.
