ENT Specialist 's  Response
Hi, this condition is mainly due to Eustachian tube closure and not allowing the air entry from nose to middle ear. so the equilibrium in/out of ear drum disrupts, middle ear pressure will increase.
the increased pressure may pull the ear drum and touches the small ossicles inside , so the conduction throgh the ear drum is fast and very sensitive.
Apply nasal drops and do steam inhalation.Drink hot water.
Pinch your nose with closed moth try to swallow the saliva which will assst your ET to open because of nasopharyngeal pressure.
Discuss with your family Dr to do Valsalva manoeure to increase middle ear pressure.
Take care
