Hi,

I guess your concern is beating like feeling between breasts, right? I got the picture of suffering. Well in medical terms its called-tachycardia. Increased heart beats and people interpret it as something beating like experience. It can be felt in normal persons also like:

1. After jogging/running/exercising.

2. When you are excited for some good reasons,

3. Sudden changes in environment etc

Some people who are very anxious/very fearful for small small things, they also experience that beating kind of feeling. So, you don't have to worry.

Sit back and relax. You have thyroid problem. Patients with thyroid have some kind of anxiety (whats the reason, its beyond your scope to understand, and moreover its not necessary to know also).

1. Relax, as relaxation itself may decrease the stress on heart and stop that beating kind of feeling you have. You can relax by listening to music, watching movie, talking to family members and friends.

2. As you are on new medicines, have patience. Once drug starts to have effect on heart you will feel comfortable.

3. If no improvement after few days you can revisit your treating doctor and discuss this problem freely and openly without any hesitation.

4. If you are in a hurry, you can visit a nearby physician/cardiology specialist to rule out that tachycardia is because of anxiety or some problem is there.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
