What Causes Fluctuation In BP And Swelling On Feet?

Hello Doctor, I am 65 year old lady and Hypertension patient from last 12 years and on medication for the same with teneric 50. Recently I had visited doctor for my check up, to which doctor advised Random Sugar and ECG tests, BP was also on the high side. Sugar report was normal and based on ECG and BP readings doctor advised to stop teneric 50 and start new medicine , which are Amlopres-5 and Propranolol 40 mg tablets. Took medicine for 2 weeks but BP remain on the high 150/90, thereafter doctor replaced the medicine to Isoptin 240 mg, now on the same medicine and facing problem of low BP in the morning and high BP in the evening and having swelling in the feet. Recently undertook, lipid, ceratinine and SGPT test, results were normal. Appreciate your advise and feedback.

Isoptin(verapamil) causes swelling of legs as a side effect.
Your blood pressure goal is less than 150/90
. In my opinion isoptin should be changed to either chlorthlidone or ramipril (alone or in combination).
